Turn Buttons

Ever thought of updating that family photo, but still want to keep the same frame? With turn buttons this can be easily done. Turn buttons are small metal tabs, usually 3/4" to one inch long, that screw into the backside of your frame.
The tab, when screwed in tight, holds flush against the backside of your picture keeping the picture in place and attached to the frame. Once it's time to switch out pictures the screws can be slightly loosened allowing the tabs to move away from the picture. The picture can then be removed and replaced with the new one. Tighten the screws and it's finished!

Frame Highlight

Named after the wood it is made of, the Bonanza Wood line of frames is very economical because it is made up of a composite material. Bonanza Wood is a solid material, with a very smooth, wrapped laminate finish. It is not 100% wood, but composite of several woods and glues.

It is great quality and the finish is extremely consistent, equal-to or better than most stained wood finishes. It comes in many colors and shapes making it a very versatile and popular choice.

Float It In Glass

A fun way to mount art is to float it between glass. A "glass float mount" is a mounting process in which a flat art piece is sandwiched between two pieces of glass. This generally means no adhesives, the art is held in place by the weight of the glass.
The frame can be place right next to the boarder of the art, however, by spacing the art away from the frame and cutting the glass larger than the art the raw edge of the art can be seen. This process is commonly used on papyrus, watercolors, pressed flowers, and fabric prints, but can be used for other art pieces.
